Forgetfulness, Abuse and Freedom

We all desire happiness. The problem is we have forgotten the path to real happiness. With so many issues confronting us daily, we must be more attentive than ever. It helps tremendously to purify our thoughts and not bother with vain and nonsense things. We all have a space in the universe. For many, it feels it has been lost and the desire is to find it. Some souls gave up when they were children and decided that they really didn't want to be here. Other people feel like aliens. In my opinion, those of us who are actively living from the impulses of the inner Nature are the real aliens. People for the most part have life all wrong. Many accept abuse as a normal state of affairs. Abuse in this instance includes how we are continually duped by the government, the educational system, the church, man made laws, parental ignorance and much more. Century after century various systems have come and gone, one after another, but all with a single goal...transform us into a soulless slave. This probably sounds harsh but if you are not a deep thinker and question life, it is very easy to become robotic. Often times, parents programming and belief systems are part of the problem. We must think for ourselves and look closely at how we have been conditioned.

We must free our souls from aggression, selfishness, fear and many other dark feelings. When we are free from aforementioned, we are capable of goodness, happiness, balance and fulfillment. We need to create a space of love that I have previously suggested. We need to embrace our inner reality, embrace the whole earth and Her life forms. The larger part of which we are, spirit, is capable of embracing the whole earth. We embrace the earth with our invisible self!

Become aware of your inner nature, the collective memory, respect it, work with it, heal it and cherish it. Act in accord with the limitless spirit, the essence of who you are. Have you ever felt your spirit? There is a magnificent light emanating from us, it is grace and hope and many other godlike attributes. Be conscious of your spiritual light and emit it. Imagine how different our lives would have been if our parents thought of the soul coming into their newborn as a Buddha or a Christ!
To feel this truth, it must be felt with the heart because the heart is capable of understanding it.

The New Man

The scriptures say of human beings that there is an outward man and along with him an inner man. Within us all is the other person, the inner man, whom the Scripture calls the new man, the heavenly man, the young person, the friend, the aristocrat. The seed of God is in us. To quote from Eckhart you will read that the seed of God is in us. "Given an intelligent and hardworking farmer, it will thrive and grow up to God, whose seed it is; and accordingly its fruits will be God-nature. Pear seeds grow into pear trees, nut seeds into nut trees, and God seed into God."

Human beings have free will and we are at liberty to identify with whatever pleases us. This amazing ability to choose our interests creates who we believe we are. The average person may act one way all their life but when a serious illness personally happens to him, he behaves very different. He could have lived a life of fear and then when he realizes he is dying become serene and God centered. For some people, it is easier to behave selflessly in a time of crisis that when life appears normal. The difference between a saint for instance and a typical human is that the saint is one who knows that very moment of our human life is a moment of crisis.

Now, why would that be? It has to do with personal choice. Every day challenges or opportunities present themselves to us. How we respond determines whether we are moving closer to darkness, which is ignorance or opening to radiant light and life. The goal of human life is to finally arrive at a state of consciousness where there are no longer any God-eclipsing obstacles between what we think and believe we are and the Divine Reality. The aim is to be constantly and consciously aware of our spiritual identity and purpose as a lover of God regardless of what is going on around us or directed at us. To understand the words I write and live them is a form of spiritual training that eventually leads us to transcend the human personality and state of ourselves that we are not a man or woman and answer instead, we are a Buddha, Christ or whatever exalted title you prefer to use to describe your state of being as an awakened and new man. This may sound preposterous to some who read this. Get used to it. It is truth.

Call to Growth

Here it is another holiday season. It is particularly enjoyable with the snow and the wild animals making their way to our patio. A smorgasbord is waiting for them. My canary who is placed right near the sliding door always lets me know when the 'wild' ones arrive. I love to write and to share deep thoughts with you although it is easy to feel wholly inadequate when attempting to convey spiritual truths. I have been in mistaken conditions and it consciously took me a long time to fully accept that the form we call ourselves is in essence a remote distant likeness to our real Self.

This is why I write and teach...to give you hope and an understanding of who we really are. It is said that no poet can give you his true poem; I believe it. Perhaps, you feel like I do and yearn to be a greater likeness of the Christ spirit.
Growth is simply an expansion of consciousness, remembering and then living the marvelous being that we really are. Heaven is not a place, but an awareness of the Absolute One, the Creator of All. What happens is that we gradually become filled with an all-pervading love. So here we are in matter relearning how to allow a higher love to fulfill itself through us.

The most difficult part of the journey in my opinion is to accept our own divinity.
Millions of us are in different stages of bondage and yet, the door is always open.
I began long ago by being obedient to the impulses of the spirit within. This is not easy because it takes a clear discernment and determination to be able to really know what is a true intuitive thought and what is the lower nature desiring to control. Falsity imitates reality. Many souls worship the Supreme Spirit through Jesus, the Christ.
We require human examples. What he tried to convey to us has appeared to failed in many ways because humanity is still blind, deaf and dumb to the ancient wisdom teachings. It is a very challenging time right now on the material level. Perhaps, if more of us would raise our mind and heart from the deepest darkness and allow illumination to arise, the radiant Light would spread quickly. Walk by the spirit of truth. Keep your heart full of gratitude and love not to whatever you visualize as God but to all men, all life forms. Remember the familiar phrase, Awake thou that sleepest? I bow to the Christ who dwells in you.
