People have believed through the ages in a healing power that could restore the body and mind. They believed that under special circumstances the power could be evoked. It was common to believe that it was the priests and holy men who possessed the power. Ceremonies, laying on of hands, incantations, amulets, talismans, rings, relics, images and supplications to God were the means to remove evil and bring about good. In ancient times, the priests in the ancient temples gave drugs to the patient and potent suggestions to the subconscious mind. They used weird and fantastic instructions as well as incense and oils usually out in the open under the moon. What the priest healers were obviously doing is making an appeal to the subconscious mind of the patient. Where medical skill often failed, suggestions worked because it fired the imagination of the patient. The result would be an emotional state, which triggered acceptance and belief.
The Bible mentions that when we pray believe that we receive and it will be done unto us. To be healed, the same steps are required. For instance, yesterday I woke up with a runny nose. It was nonstop. Strange part of this is that I haven't had a cold in about 18 years. Since I was writing about the subconscious this week, I followed my own suggestions. Everything abnormal was cleared by the time we were ready to have dinner. I planted a seed in the subconscious of perfect health and offered thanks assuming it was being immediately taken care of. As Jesus would say, "According to your faith is it done unto you". Faith is accepting it is being taken care of right now even though our reasoning and senses may deny the situation. What we do with our faith in any desire is to co-operate consciously with the subconscious part of the mind with expectancy, deep inner feeling and conviction that the situation will be resolved.
Jesus and other healers have stated to their patients not to discuss the healing because they may be subjected to skeptical and nasty comments from people who are unbelieving. If other people hurl thoughts of doubt and fear at you, the anxiety may undo what the subconscious has done. If there is an internal mental change, whether positive or negative, it will manifest in the body. It is an automatic response. The subconscious mind will respond to your belief whether you are with a healer, alone with your faith or at a shrine. Suggestion will also arouse the imagination and bring about a healing such as drinking a special water, reciting a specific prayer or touching an object that has been blessed. Imagination, expectancy and faith will create a healing. The healing will remain permanent only if you hold firmly onto your belief. This has and will continue to happen to people even if all the clinical tests previously proved negative.

Live in Joyous Awareness
One of the ways to achieve authentic happiness is through prayer. When we pray, we usually are relaxed and receptive to guidance and experience a feeling of closeness. This is particularly true when we really believe our prayer is already answered. Remember, just like the moments before sleep when you program your life, prayer operates along the same energetic waves. In other words, the subconscious will definitely find a way to manifest a prayer that is stated in conviction and good intent.
What we must discipline ourselves to do is not entertain any thoughts that work against our prayer or desire statements. I suggest that you shut down your physical senses before starting to pray. What I mean by this is to consciously remove from your mind visible and tangible manifestations around you that are the opposite of what you are praying for. The idea is to be in a state of mind where you assume that you are having what you desire by ignoring the senses or appearance world during your prayer time.
The dominant feeling wins. So, prayer must become similar to a meditative state or the feeling you have just before falling asleep. You are conscious but very relaxed.
What needs to be created is a passive state. This is just the opposite of what some teachers insist you must do. There is no demanding on your part. Do what you can to get your mind and body in a passive state and know with all your heart that the wish or prayer is fulfilled. Scripture tells us that everything we need is already within us. Believe it and watch joy unfold. True prayer is a means to live in joyous awareness. It is an awareness of a higher love that will bring into manifestation the good that you are asking for.

Our Dreams
Our dreams can be actualized if we would be disciplined enough to believe in them. Part of the discipline is to look at ourselves and others in a new way, a way that is beneficial and positive. When we are finally God Realized we do not judge by appearances. The key is seeing others as we desire them to be...only good. We can actually do our part in bringing heaven on earth by seeing and hearing the good.
A Krishna, Babaji, Buddha or Christ Consciousness is alive in every person; it is only asleep. When we begin to see the truth hidden in ourselves and others, we awaken and no longer sleep. Our imagination is a holy and creative womb. Instead of turning to the outer for sought answers, why not turn to the holy Presence within? The perfection we seek is already created. It becomes a tangible reality to us when we call it into manifestation and believe in it as our only truth. We see only our perfect Self.
The goal is to learn detachment from the ever changing mood swings. Instead, make an effort to live in the feeling energy, which knows itself as Divine. By accepting our divinity, we unveil the reality of who we are. Instead of lowering our behavior to subconscious assumptions, let us seek for and evoke the most sublime part of who we really are. When we assume that we are already perfect and only asleep to that fact, our behavior will subtly and unconsciously change reflecting our true essence. Since other people continually observe our subconscious assumptions, why not change the subconscious and assume the best of ourselves? This understanding is a perfect form of prayer for the consciousness of another or for our own peace and balance.

Angels, Forgiveness & Healing
Angels are associated with healing. Their knowledge is pure, wise and comforting. Of course, they are not subject to sickness or injury. Their helpfulness is untiring. The basis of all healing is forgiveness. Letting go of the wounds people inflict on us is part of the process. Forgiveness also includes the wounds we inflict on others, which more than likely will haunt if left unattended. Whenever there is a need for healing, there is a need for forgiveness. Forgiveness is the angelic road to healing. We came from the Light, which is love, wisdom and unity. While on earth, we ignorantly create too much disorder and pain. Many people accept the unbalanced way of living as normal. Angels find this form of moral and spiritual ignorance intolerable. Angels are ready to work with receptive souls when they stop displaying resistance and judgments. They often arrive on the scene so we may have a glimpse of a finer existence, which freely uses spiritual medicine.
Perhaps, you have had an angel experience and simply did not recognize it as one. A very special friend of mine, Dawn, shared with me the following story. Her third child was five months old at the time and had been diagnosed with a respiratory virus that was not improving after two long months of around-the-clock treatments and medication. She remembers one evening being totally exhausted and on her knees praying. All of a sudden, Dawn looked up and saw two magnificent and tall celestial beings. The angels did not have discernible faces. Instead, they were enmeshed in forms of beautiful vibrating colors of radiant light. The colors were white, blue and pink.
The angels did not say anything, nor did they have to. They radiated such a loving healing presence that my friend was not only in awe, but knew from that glorious moment that her child would be healed. He was. To this day, he is healthy and energetic. Dawn mentioned that she will be forever thankful to the brilliant beings and other compassionate beings of Light who are always nearby guiding, comforting and protecting.
