Humankind's Achievements parallel Its Desires

Using the Kabbalah as a reference on this subject, it is said that the humans' desire to rule and conquer was the driving force behind the invention of the canon in the Middle Ages. As collective desires grow, civilizations advance. It is interesting to look at this closely because of the great desire right now in so many minds and heart for a good change that will benefit the rights of humanity. Kabbalah divides the entire complex of human desires into five levels: 1, Meeting basic natural desires, such as food, shelter and sex. 2, Striving for wealth. 3, Craving power and fame. 4, Thirsting for knowledge. 5, Desiring spirituality. Have you noticed that when the first four desires are fulfilled, a feeling of "emptiness" appears. Once we give up on reaching fulfillment to our desires on one level, it is off to the next level. When humans have satisfied the first four, they begin to ask questions concerns their origin, purpose and seriously desire to put all the pieces of the puzzle together. I am not insinuating that the first four desires are completely satisfied because having lack in any area of the first four usually causes a person to start thinking in its self. At least, this is my opinion.

Many people who are on the path of soul evolution deny the existence of evil. They refuse to recognize darkness. Some people automatically blame God for everything that is negative, sad, crippling, limiting, etc. Evil described plain and simple is human nature totally out of balance. There is no stability, heart or selflessness. The souls who lived under the influences of the lowest nature in the body continue to vibrate in a similar ignorance after physical death in the lower astral world and cause great mischief. Kabbalists say humans don't have to suffer; study instead. This means grow up and start correcting your mistakes and further suffering will not materialize. To do the correct thing, we must have that fifth desire, which is an intimacy with spirituality.

Once we reach the fifth level, we understand that there is good in evil if it drives the soul to deliberately move towards the Creator. Evil can pressure us to take control of our own lower nature and start evolving spiritually. This is only fully understood at a higher level of mind. The Creator wants us to partake in our own creation. Understanding this desire indicates that every negative or evil energy in us becomes a means to an end that is good. This is one way to make contact with the Creator. Recognize that evil is the beginning of the revelation of good. Behind all our desires is the search for satisfaction. We want to feel good. When we begin to feel good spiritually, it changes our scale of desire. We look at everything with new eyes. We assess our environment. We finally understand that we are a part of the One Power and Presence, the Source, and are able to look at the big picture. Don't get me wrong. We may still desire comfort, knowledge and all the other things, which is fine. Some of these areas diminish in importance because they no longer have the same meaning to us. Our focus now is in the growing desire for genuine spirituality. All the corrections leads to a direct contact with the Creator. How? Why? Because we desire to be like our Creator.

Have a thoughtful weekend...

The Conscious and Subconscious Must Agree

Do you feel rich? Inner wealth is the real wealth but we also need ample money to lead a full, happy and prosperous life. Money is a symbol of exchange. So, why not allow it to circulate freely in your life? The more knowledge we have regarding the powers of the subconscious part of the mind, the easier it is to remove old patterns based on false interpretation of scriptures. We are worthy. There is no virtue in poverty. Money is judged by some as the root of all evil. Well, if that is your entire focus, it is. When a person loves money and material things more than spirit, light and life, he or she is the one existing in poverty. Making money your sole aim is not a good choice. What we need to learn are the laws of the subconscious. Understanding them, we can still have peace of mind, balance, health, love and ample money for our needs and to help others.

The life principle encourages us to evolve. To be worrying constantly about paying bills and whether food will be available for the next meal, is not a virtue. Money is energy. Energy, all energy, has its source from the Creator. Why not say to yourself, "I like money. I love it and use it constructively and judiciously. Money is constantly circulating in my life. Money flows towards me and I send it out to others in joy and gratitude". Paper money is composed of atoms and molecules with their electrons and protons arranged differently. Metal coins are made of electrons, neutrons, protons and isotopes. What is evil about that?

If it appears you lack money, before you go to sleep imagine an image of prosperity. Be persistent and do this every night. Imagine, see and feel the reality of having, spending and giving the money to others. Live with that idea. Nourish it by not harboring any negative thoughts or criticism regarding the subject of money. Your imagining must be filled with conviction. The new pattern will penetrate the layers of your subconscious mind and eventually attract everything you are imagining. You are setting a law into motion. You cannot have wealth flow to you if you resent it flowing to another. When you are finished with your bedtime visualization, calmly state, "Infinite intelligence governs and watches over all my finances and I am prospering". Get out of the mental atmosphere of lack and limitation. Call on the powers of the subconscious to supply you with whatever you need to live in dignity and freedom.

Have a great weekend~

The Cause of Evil

The doctrine that God can be incarnated in human form is found in both religion and philosophy. It is said, that when goodness grows weak, evil increases. What does this mean? The bodies of human beings are affected by the good or bad states of their minds. The answer to this question is discovered when we research and ultimately discover the Light. The divine serenity and good will of the many is one of the reasons the world does not go completely mad. In the psychic universe, the same holds true. If the psychic world is fed obsessive thoughts of evil, egotism and rebellion, it will connect with humans whose behavior is negatively emotional, mistreating the mind and body and off balance. The human mind affects consciousness regardless of its density or visibility.

When I speak of density, I am referring to the fact that matter is Light condensed. When a soul lives in matter, it psychologically distances itself from the Source, God, the Limitless Light. Imagine an immense circle with a point at its center. Living in a world of matter we are on the periphery and not at the center, which emanates the light. Souls who have manifested in matter lose their center. The only way they regain it is through personal seeking, striving, loving and being. So, if a soul does not know that it has distanced itself from the Center Light, it reacts in confusion, forgetfulness, sorrow and in many cases anger. These reactions are self-destructive. Much of the sorrow today is a direct result of humans understanding on a very subtle level that they are missing something very valuable. They are missing grace because they judge themselves from the outward appearance and not the inner light of perfection.

Yes, I am saying that the ugliness, disrespect, selfishness, horror and cruelty that can be experienced by a soul whether it is in a physical body or existing on a lower astral plane is the result of this sense of lack and separation. You see, when Nature and life is not respected or understood from the center point, the doer's light is diminished. Dying is all about diminished Light. When I look at people with my inward spiritual eye, the intensity of their light is obvious. The light of their consciousness can be barely visible or it can be like a waterfall spilling over into life itself. We are light first. The physical body came later. If we do not take care of the inner Light, the mind, emotions, body, relationships, work and whatever we do is harmed. It cannot expand because the light is temporarily capped. From a cosmic point of view, all of us must move towards the Center, the Limitless Light, Father-Mother God, our Source. Church, temple and ashram attendance is not the answer. The answer is within your heart and mind and how you allow your light to shine. If it is basically snuffed out, you die on every level through negative thoughts and associations. Your mind attracts to you what you think and feel about all day. Looking at evil from this perspective, ask your self whether any form of negativity is an outside influence directed at you or is it that your inside needs a divine scrubbing.
