Our Inner Ray of Light

If only more people understood that they have within a warm and radiant Light that can be lovingly used to not only help themselves but others who need extra warmth, wisdom and love in their lives, we wouls be living in a totally different energy than what is currently being experienced all over the planet. The cause of the chaos is the ego/personality who has taken up residence at the basis of thinking mind. It is an energy that has displaced the Power or ignored the inner Power of our true Self. Ego in this particular comment represents the non-Self, the absence of the activity of the Divine Self. It is a veil of ignorance, a veil of empty darkness. It is ruled by the subconscious memory rather than the Divine Knowing of who we are in truth. In the years ahead, the veil will lift from conscious awareness both individually and collectively. The eventual result will be a spirit that shines forth truth and is more obvious in its presence and power. The Final Event, the true Apocalypse, will usher in a new Golden Age for all humanity.

Virtually every ancient culture around the world, even at the very beginnings of recorded history, nostalgically speaks of a lost time when the beings on the earth were actually filled with the presence of the sacred Light. The typical soul has fallen from that state and has forgotten how to commune with the Divine. This is how I interpret the meaning of the term 'fallen'. The conscious mind has forgotten the higher part of the Mind and Spirit and functions from the lesser nature of physical and material desires. If a soul forgets how to commune with the Divine, which includes Nature, it is basically lost until that moment when the spell is finally shattered.

In a mind set of forgetfulness, collective humanity appears to be determined in destroying the planet and life. All of recorded history tells us that we have been at war with ourselves since the very beginnings of human civilization. It teaches us that when given the change, the ego, the source of corruption, will raise its ugly head and take over. The ego is driven to seek power and control and is willing to use any means at its disposal to obtain and keep it. The human soul has and in many cases right now been infected for at least the last 4 to 5000 years of recorded history. My assignment is to help souls remember who they spiritually are and the warmth, beauty, truth and love that they can easily radiate out into the world through their own personal ray of Light.

Who Created the Lower Self?

We have been deceived by appearance and yes, many times by incomplete and even false teachings. The more we become conscious of our true identity, the key to freedom, the more we can differentiate the true from the false. We are the ones who have created our lower nature due to our limited and unconscious lack of knowledge regarding what is permanent and what is not. By identifying solely with the conscious mind and the appearance body and thinking that it is separate from the Divine, we continue to energize its power, a false one, as a mistaken identity.

We are the creators who have designed a personality and body through misguided information, false beliefs, selfish pride, ambitions that move us away from our soul purpose and believing that physical power is real power. Again,I am describing the human personality who must be undermined or it will take control with its addictions, fears and attraction towards possessions. It is a satisfying feeling to have monetary security, attractiveness and lovely possessions. I am not suggesting that we should avoid or discard them. What I am saying is that they are as temporary as a snowflake.

What I teach and live is that being entombed in flesh is usually not an enlightening experience until we realize that the lower nature primarily thrives on illusions, which are accepted as reality by the human personality. If the illusions are in control, our separation from the True Self, the Divine Personality, the Higher Nature recedes into the background becoming a vague memory. When we really begin to think about these things, the veils part and the meaning of our existence in matter is understood. What we experience in matter is very real but it is softened and blessed when we remember the higher Nature and focus on the Divine, the Creator of our higher Self.

Sacred Journey

You are a sacred soul on a sacred journey. The primary thrust of what I teach is only you can get your life to take off. We must learn to love who we really are, a divine spirit in an animal body, and never forget. Your first and best relationship is with the Higher Self.

Everyone has a story to tell. Once you make a full commitment to your inner spirit and not suppress it, your story will change. To survive as a race, we must awaken from the sleep of forgetfulness. My intent is to encourage you to receive the Light from your own direct experience and not rely on the experiences of others. To joyfully transform the physical into the holy and infuse the holy into the mundane, conscious action is required.

By now everyone on the path hopefully knows that humanity has been duped mentally, physically and materially. We can no longer afford to wear blindfolds, be deaf to truth or persist in robotic thinking. The ideal is for you to make conscious contact with the Ineffable Light. If you already have, expand and experience it daily. A higher reality will be revealed to you. You will gain knowledge and understanding directly. Serious students are eager to expand God's Light as an actuality in their lives.

An Average Person's Life

In the case of the average person, ignorance of spiritual identity, egoism, attachment, aversion and clinging to things and people in life are constant and sustained. This is happening and appears as normal because everyone for the most part is following the prompting of the subconscious based desires.

If any part of an average person's life or material standing is threatened, the typical response is fear without any reflection. The idea is to intercept these feelings when they arise, resist them and substitute the fear with feelings of love, self-discipline and generosity. In other words, to be free this lifetime requires vigilance and effort. If you become lazy, forgetful and are not consistent, the old habits are revived.

As you grow stronger in your determination, afflictions become weaker and dormant because you are no longer responding to them. Constant discipline results in a state of equanimity, which cannot be disturbed by such promptings. No one can achieve this state of mind for you. It takes constant attention, patience with your ego and a deep love for your spirit. It can be done.

Forgetfulness of Reality

What if an individual respects life, is free of negative habits, has attained high moral character and deeply loves the Divine and still experiences horrendous challenges? How is that soul attracting lack, limitation, suffering or disease? This is a question many people ask. We need more truth, light and knowledge on this planet in the area of understanding Principle. Because real understanding is lacking, an individual may feel bewilderment, betrayal and judge that there is no God or if there is, God does not love him. This feeling is extremely painful.

The average human does not realize that a descending soul may choose a particular body, family, disability or limitation to test his power of faith and knowing and to expand his awareness and compassion for others. A disabled body can house a very advanced soul who deliberately entered a horrendous physical situation or environment to teach his parents compassion and patience. How can any one judge another? Judging by appearance is not the whole picture.

It is very painful to watch anyone suffer. There are souls whose pain mentally, emotionally and physically is nonstop. Some souls choose a path of suffering for higher education purposes and soul progression. Others choose because they feel guilty and it is a way to punish themselves. The soul has a clearer understanding of desire, cause and effect when it vacates the physical body. The sad part of the journey is that the soul for the most part forgets Reality when it enters matter. If the soul consciously remembered and was truly aware of the higher purpose of life, balance and eventual maturity through self-mastery while in the body, life would be embraced and lived differently.

First Step

Get out of your wheelchair! Most people have crippling memories within the soul and mind that have prvented them from being their true and whole Self. By facing, forgiving and releasing the pains of the past, we can heal and move forward in a new way that benefits rather than stagnates. Pains become obvious in our reactions to people, places and things. Too many people waste time focusing on past and hurtful memories, protocol, laws and useless things that work against a balanced energy. If all along we had a conscious understanding of our true identity as spirit, divine mind imprisoned in form, the journey may not have been so difficult and long.

We are an integral part of Divine Mind, Universal Substance, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. All that is in matter is a reflection of this marvel. It is the truth of our own existence and potentiality. If we had been more focused on the inner reality as our actual truth, the real higher Self would be obviously evident.

It is time to wake up from the lost years and live in the present realizing the truth of spirit identity. Most people are like the blue jay I saw remaining on the sidewalk. I asked him if he could fly. He was staying grounded in a traffic area where anyone passing by could step on him. He eventually flew up to a low ledge on the retention wall along the river. The blue jay reminded me of people who could easily fly if they chose to do so. Why not choose to fly now?

So Thankful!

As my daily awareness of God's love and presence increases, I am thankful beyond any mere words. I know how much we are loved and how precious our lives are. The joy of the presence of holiness is beyond human expectations. So many of us have forgotten who we really are. This is so sad. We become immersed in matter and forget that we are spirit temporarily using a material form. Isn't this just like Madonna's song, "I am just a material girl living a material life"?

One morning, I suddenly woke up to another reality, a reality that is true, loving, compassionate, wise, understanding, unlimited and forgiving. Each new day I rediscover who I am and the infinite possibilities that are waiting for all of us to embrace and use.
I believe that we are all one glorious energy, meaning we are like luminous sparks of light projecting from the one Great Light, our true Father and Mother Creator. It is up to us to remember and rekindle the spark and light the way. I love nature. She provides everything. When this overwhelmming attitude of gratefulness sweeps through our minds and hearts, we embrace all of nature, every form She takes.
