So You Want To Be Enlightened

There is a sleeping God in the soul of every human. We have been given many ways as to how to awaken the sleeping divinity. The unfolding of our spiritual nature is as much an exact science as astronomy, medicine or law. It is not a haphazard journey based on a particular faith. It is a sacred science. The most priceless secret is understanding. All other things are impermanent. Understanding endures. The key lies in the power of knowing who we really are. When we know the one secret...who we are, we consciously and visibly are the one life, light and truth. Once we understand that the kingdom is both inside and outside of us, we can begin to return to the fullness of where we once were when this journey began. To return to the beginning is to attain the end. The goal is to return to our original face.

We cannot reach our goal until we are balanced. This means bringing the two principles...masculine and feminine together as one; it is not a gender issue. There is a light within you and that light is no part of the created world, as you know it. You bring out the light visibly and tangibly first through understanding. Once you understand that the very thing you crave you already are, you are on your way toward enlightenment. When you lack discrimination and have negative inclinations, you are enslaved. The spirit within has not been recognized. Lack of understanding, which is spiritual ignorance, generates illusions, attachments and therefore suffering. Ignorance is a sickness of the heart and mind and is accompanied by attachment. We are infinitely richer than that of any possession.

Before we can be free, ignorance must be removed. The following are seven of them.
1, Darkness, When we deny the Light, 2, Not understanding, 3, Ignorance of who we really are, 4, Jealousy, which is lethal, 5, Enslavement of the body through abuse and harmful habits, 6, Intoxicated wisdom, intellectual knowledge, books, pretence, not inner knowing, 7, Guileful wisdom, Teaching with deceit and not pure intention. When we remove the seven, we are freed from ignorance. The intent is to erase the false design through virtue of a higher design. Victory is knowledge of a truth that will make us free of attachments and identifications with that which we mistake for real Being...us.

What is True Disease?

The human race brings down into matter unnecessary afflictions as a direct result of spiritual ignorance regarding true identity and the universal laws that govern creation. If an individual refuses to gain knowledge of the inner identity and purpose for being in a physical form, he or she is a target for suffering. Health is our divine birthright. Health implies balance and understanding. Real health is within. Real illness is not understanding, accepting and living that truth. Health is the very essence of our being. Disease first occurs in the mind and eventually materializes in the physical body. If that were not true, many of the wonderful techniques available for healing emotions would not be nearly effective as they are.

The subconscious and conscious part of the mind is the primary agent controlling the personality and the physical body. Eventually, when the soul is enlightened, the super part of the mind begins to exercise its will, protection and guidance. To entertain thoughts that are negative and destructive corrodes the emotional and physical form. The true disease is lack of spiritual insight,ignorance of the universal laws of harmony and the absence of an awareness of Light. Radiant Light is the heavenly 'glue' that holds all creation together. When the Light is hidden, the soul and mind are influenced by illusion, falsity and the appearance world. Spiritual ignorance creates suffering. This has nothing to do with attending a place of worship. True worship is to understand your relationship to the Source and what role you are to play in the drama of physical life. All mishaps, diseases and losses are not necessarily the result of a cause as most people understand karma. Nasty things happen sometimes simply to jar the soul memory and bring out into the open another reality, a reality that is goodness, love, light, real and enduring.

There is no one to blame for our suffering. The inner temple has been torn down as a result of neglect, forgetfulness and different forms of abuse. To rebuild the temple of Light within our own being, we must establish a firm foundation through faith, understanding, discipline, patience, service and a deep love for the Source and its magnificent creation. Using true knowledge with unswerving patience is the tool of the builder. Spiritual ignorance and the lack of self control is the blow of the destroyer. The true disease is the sleep of the individual spirit within. It is not yet activatd through recognition and love. If this truth would be thoroughly understood and lived, infirmities, lack and limitation would be understood in such a way that heaven can be lived on earth.

Sacrifice of Spirit

It is my opinion that we can handle anything that comes up in life if we have true knowledge regarding our spirit identity and apply the knowledge gained. The higher identity is spirit-light-intelligence-beauty-truth projected temporarily into matter. Matter, emotions and mind are usually assumed to be the only self. The latter is the everyday baggage that we carry around in our normal human state. Until we awaken and rediscover Spirit, it is trapped in space-time. It is our responsibility to set it free. Entrapped spirit is the great sacrifice talked about in the ancient teachings.

The physical world manifests through desire. A higher energy, Spirit, became a living part of the creation. In the meantime, the individual projections of the One Mind forgot its origin. When sublime truth and the real identity are forgotten, harming others or ourselves is often the result. Due to forgetfulness and spiritual ignorance, negative energy is created that will eventually boomerange. Humankind has been warned. Consciousness and desire create the causes that appear in life. It will benefit us if we look at this issue and think deeply regarding personal energy and how to use it. Our current energy is creating the future. In truth, the past, present and future are happening right now. In other words, energy becomes what it thinks about. The energy that most people have forgotten is the hidden and ignored energy of the eternal Spirit, God within...the natural divinity.

If we understand quantum physics, we learn that there is no ultimatre cause and effect. Undoing the past means forgiveness and re-creating the present. We are the ones creating the illusion.

Pagan Stage

Do you ever wonder why we continue to have wars and disorder all over the planet? This stage will continue as long as humans kill other humans, do not understand the true meaning of evil and suppress women to less than full equality with man. The Pagan stage is a stage that is dominated by the physical senses. For the most part, the awakening of the spirit senses are ignored. A balanced civilization cannot exist unless an awareness between right and wrong is firmly established. Another aspect of this pervading ignorance are erroneous beliefs that have made evil a living presence, a ruler, an actual being. It became convenient to blame someone called the devil or satan for all our mistakes, harmful thoughts and actions. Understanding of what is real and true is sorely lacking in the collective mind of men.

We are all actors in God's magic theater. As individual, intelligent sparks of Light, we have the same spiritual origin. All intelligence originated in the Invisible Radiating Light. The goal is to return to the Source. How do we do that? Closely examine the role you are currently playing. To remove ourselves from the lesser energies of spiritual ignorance, it is wise to choose self-mastery. Self-mastery makes it possible to control our lives by choosing to live from the productive and healing energy of our higher Nature instead of choosing lower responses that are divisive, conditioned and instilled as fear.
