A Conscious Creator

First, you must accept the idea that you can create beyond your understanding of what creation means to you. Start with an idea, an urge, a desire or a word. By choosing and thinking about it, you give it birth. Now, you must give birth to a second step and that is the importance of feeling. Then, your consciousness must join the idea with the feeling. The end result is the confirmation, which is the visible proof that you know the secret of creation.

Some teachers call the joining together of an idea with a passion or feeling the mystical marriage. It produces a likeness of itself. It is a passionate feeling that creates. Feeling serves the idea and brings forth the actualization. It is an art, a trust, an awakened imagination that will make the unseen desire visible. Once you are convinced that you are a creator, you are awakened to the truth of your being.

Establish your own consciousness of being, name something that you would like to possess or express defining your ideal or objective. Then, close your eyes and feel you already have it. Feeling is the secret of your being a conscious creator. Once you really get what I am conveying, you will be filled with joy. You are then a true server of the Light as you bring goodness into manifestation.

Describing God

Is it possible to describe the impossible? No, but we can try by using words such as unconditioned consciousness, unified, non dual, formlessness and an undefined reality for a start. Awareness is a beginning for those of us who live in form with veils that hide our true identity as spirit in form. Being aware is also recognizing that we are somehow divorced in our thinking mind from a true sense of knowing that I Am feels separated because I accept a conditioned life.

To be able to describe God, we must awaken to the fact that we are self-existent and unconditioned existence when we are no longer in the flesh. In other words, we have a better understanding of identity when we are not in the forgetful and conditioned state of mind of a typical sense human. All our striving are attempts to know who we are without the conditions. Because humans normally have a conditioned consciousness, it becomes objectified according to their belief in the material world. Anything we say to one another or do is a reflection of our momentary state of consciousness itself.

When I was writing about the subjective part of the mind, I emphasized how consciousness whether it be one of guilt, a low sense of esteem or lack and limitation will definitely manifest condemnation, abuse, poverty and negatives in our lives. People for the most part do not think that deeply about the inner state of the mind and how it produces the outer world. The most difficult truth for man to realize is that the inner spark, essence, awareness, consciousness of being is the one and only reality. God is us. The rest is a self-created illusion...a false sense of identification. Do not claim anything to be true of yourself that you would not claim as being true of God. Something to think about.....

Tell Me About Freedom

First, get deeply in touch with your spirit, the feeling and knowing who you really are. As I said before, this works for a chosen ideal, healing and a manifestation in matter regardless of the form you choose. Feeling is faith that it is already so. It is a good assumption that leads to a lasting freedom. Instead of believing in an amazing Presence solely outside of yourself, believe that you are the amazing Presence expressing through your mind and body.

We must discipline ourselves to think in a new way. The new way is the feeling of being the one we want to be and that we will be if we train ourselves to remember. These are all great suggestions but we must daily practice them to create a reality of freedom. The proof is in our assuming the reality we desire is already manifested. It is of course. It is in mind and emotions first and finally becomes visible in the world of matter. Consciousness is the cause and manifestation is the effect. There are countless ways to realize freedom. What we must do is remember and use them.

I know it can be difficult at times to look at our behavior and fully accept that God and humans, spirit and matter, the formless and formed are all one and the same. The difference lies is that we have limited ourselves through erroneous conditioning.
So, to experience true freedom we must remove the conditioning from our consciousness and God is revealed.

Live in Joyous Awareness

One of the ways to achieve authentic happiness is through prayer. When we pray, we usually are relaxed and receptive to guidance and experience a feeling of closeness. This is particularly true when we really believe our prayer is already answered. Remember, just like the moments before sleep when you program your life, prayer operates along the same energetic waves. In other words, the subconscious will definitely find a way to manifest a prayer that is stated in conviction and good intent.

What we must discipline ourselves to do is not entertain any thoughts that work against our prayer or desire statements. I suggest that you shut down your physical senses before starting to pray. What I mean by this is to consciously remove from your mind visible and tangible manifestations around you that are the opposite of what you are praying for. The idea is to be in a state of mind where you assume that you are having what you desire by ignoring the senses or appearance world during your prayer time.

The dominant feeling wins. So, prayer must become similar to a meditative state or the feeling you have just before falling asleep. You are conscious but very relaxed.
What needs to be created is a passive state. This is just the opposite of what some teachers insist you must do. There is no demanding on your part. Do what you can to get your mind and body in a passive state and know with all your heart that the wish or prayer is fulfilled. Scripture tells us that everything we need is already within us. Believe it and watch joy unfold. True prayer is a means to live in joyous awareness. It is an awareness of a higher love that will bring into manifestation the good that you are asking for.

Planting a Garden

Whether you believe me or not, you are compelled to act out your subconscious impressions. It is so easy to review and stew over past mistakes particularly just before falling asleep. That is the worst thing you can do to yourself. Stop regretting the past. When we focus on the negative, we reinfect ourselves with the very energy that needs to be permanently removed. I remind you again as well as myself that what we feel before we go to sleep determines our state of mind the following morning.

The thoughts we have before sleep are actually rehearsed in the sleep state. We are like actors trying out old or new parts. Which part is it going to be? The period before falling asleep is very important. It is the time we prepare ourselves for the role we are going to act out tomorrow. The majority of people are not free agents. They are stuck in the same old nonsense. Why not create a new plan of action?

Before you go to sleep, imagine how you would like to feel, accomplish and manifest your heart's desire. You will be creating tomorrow's drama. If you do not deliberately take this action, all the feelings and reactions of the day that just ended will make their subconscious impressions and will be the cause of future action. Plant the seeds in your imagination before falling asleep and watch them germinate and flower in the days ahead. Use the sleep state as a creative state. Please let me know how you have benefitted as a conscious gardener. This is an excellent time of the year to start a fresh planting.

As in the Subconscious so on Earth

Do you know that when you are fast asleep the male or conscious part of your mind turns away from the world as we know it and focuses on its female part, the subconscious part of the self? The subjective part of the mind faithfully reproduces its likeness in the world as we accept it. While we sleep or are in prayer, the conscious and subconscious unite. It is very important that whatever you are thinking about before you go to sleep be good because it will be stored in the inner and later exposed in the outer.

If you have a desire that you would like to see manifested, think about it while you are awake. Feel the wish fulfilled before you fall asleep. Feeling that you are successful will out picture in your waking world. Using your imagination see the desire as your reality. As you relax into sleep, strongly feel the desire as an actuality. After you have fallen asleep, your last feelings about yourself, others and life itself dominant consciousness. In other words, your mood before sleep determines what is held in the subjective part of the mind. If you fall asleep with thoughts of fear, the subconscious will accept your emotions. Why not relax into unconsciousness with a positive attitude that will impress and not impair your happiness?

Whatever you bring with you into the sleep state is yours to manifest in the manifested state of mind. Your subconscious sees you as you believe yourself to be. In this situation, assuming the positive is the kindest act you can do for yourself.
Imagine states of being that reach beyond experiences of the past. Exercising this simple thought projection before going to sleep, assuming it is your truth, you will change your world. You must convince yourself that what you desire is truth. This is not merely a suggestion. It is a conviction. What is in your subconscious determines two-thirds of your life on earth. You have the creative exercise to make the choices you wish to be your reality.

A Paradox

The feelings stored in the subconscious as impressions are to be both used and controlled. To attain self-mastery, we must understand that feelings can be our undoing or they can be perfect tools to reach an ideal or goal. The thing to remember is their fickleness and fluctuating ability. If feelings are incorrect or out of control, they destroy and work against soul evolution and happiness. If they are understood and mastered, they are a magnificent tool.

The impersonal and non selective subconscious impressions are not concerned about truth or falsity. It simply accepts that which is declared to be true for the individual. Then of course, it manifests the input received. It accepts everything it receives. So, what we need to do is monitor our feelings and understand that we do not wish to create further hindrances in our every day world. This is why all mystics and masters state that the feeling nature must be controlled. A state of mind filled with hope is impossible if we impress the subconscious with any idea of failure.

Commanding the subconscious really is not effective. It is far better to persuade it through understanding garnered from study of self and what works and what does not. It is a creative medium, a womb so to speak. What is required is for the thinking mind to take charge through an attitude of love by assuming and building an opposite feeling of the one that you previously stored in the subjective part of the mind. You must learn to assume a new truth, a new reality. Once this assumption is planted deeply in the soil of the subconscious, it will accept your new and elevated understanding as its truth. You see life through what is going on secretly within you. Your world is your consciousness objectified. So, being aware of this fact, change your inner impressions so they will benefit you and the people around you.
Self mastery is the goal. Sleep, prayer, chanting, visualization and a creative imagination will help you until you get there.
