Two Types of Altered States

There is a harmful altered state and beneficial one. The harmful state is obviously when we are not in control of ourselves, even though we have the delusion that we are. In this state, we are actually in physical and mental danger. Our health is endangered, possession by another intelligent entity may occur and it is not commonsense to experiment with unnatural mind altering experiments. We are designed by our Creator to be capable of naturally altered states of consciousness to use for our benefit and others. The beneficial states I am referring to are ones achieved without the use of any drugs, medicines, or other substances. It is achieved by using our natural ability to control our own thinking. You have the innate ability to have these paranormal experiences. You have the right to experience the psychic world and it is not difficult to learn how.

When we have a right to something, it can only be realized if we accept our responsibility for the right and use the responsibility to experience it. As you offered different possibilities to expand your mind and powers, always keep in mind that whatever you learn and use must be used with an intention that no one is ever harmed. This is where responsibility and choice come into play. Using a skyscraper as an example, I will begin with an easy way to develop the ability to go to any level of your mind at will. The skyscraper is your mind. In the tall building there is a basement and many floors. There is something different on each floor. Imagine yourself stepping into the elevator of your mind. Every floor has offices. The doors have labels such as, success, wealth, food, shelter, protection, love, guidance and so on. The ground floor of your mind is concerned with the basic necessities of life and survival. There is a "down only" and an "up only" elevator. You choose your experience according to your need at the moment.

If you choose the "down only" elevator don't get out at the basement level. Only look at how the doors are labeled "greed", "violence", "hatred", "pride". They represent the weaknesses in the lower part of the mind. Exit the elevator and don't use it again...ever. Now enter the "up" elevator and check out the first floor level. The doors are labeled "dreams", another "hunches." You have been here before. There are also unlabeled doors, experiences you have not yet had. Return to the elevator and go up to the second level. The door is locked. You are unable to see what is on the label. You determine in your mind to find a key for the lock so you will one day be able to open the door. Return to ground floor. The idea of this exercise, which can be done anytime and anywhere is to realize a greater awareness of yourself. There are hundreds of levels in the skyscraper you call your self. So many doors you have not yet unlocked. Why not take a vow to unlock and experience all levels of your higher Self at will? Mental exercises help us unlock and function in the psychic realm.

The Future is Ever Changeable

Nothing is predestined or set. Although we have urges that may sometimes predispose us in a certain direction, the outcome is definitely connected to will. The Akashic Records provide all of us with the very circumstances and events which will help our soul evolve and experience the greatest probability for success. What we need to remember is the application of what we know within to do. There always seems to be a gap between knowledge and application. Soul growth is more about what we do with what we know. Usually behind what we do is an ideal. A spiritual ideal causes us to be concerned about others and not only ourselves. We are constantly creating conditions upon what we created in the past leading to what we will experience in the future.

The soul, which is memory and mind, evolves eventually to an awareness of its true relationship with its spirit, higher Self, the God within. The Book of Life, Akashic Records, draws to the individual what it needs to continue its growth in consciousness. Sometimes, it may take several lifetimes of repetitive experiences to learn the lesson. The fact to remember is that there are potential patterns and our free will directs the energy. Our choices alter or change all effects. I would pay attention to your dreams. Many significant life events are first foreshadowed in our dreams. Even though this can happen, an individual's will can still change the event from manifesting. For example: I saw my daughter jogging on an isolated path in a wooded area during her lunch break. The next scene she was face down with leaves swirling around her. I called her at work and described the location in detail and she admitted that I just described the place where she jogs every day. She listened to the warning, changed the location and her life was spared. Another young woman running on the path shown in the dream was killed later that very same week.

What is most important is the effort we daily make in expanding our awareness of the living spirit, the higher Self. We always have a choice. Rather than the typical search for power, it is far more important and lasting to search and evolve through space and time as an awakened spiritual essence. Each life experience we are given a chance to be who we really are. What we choose to do does have an effect on the planet and its life. I believe that each of us has a particular mission to manifest. Consciously, we may not know what it is but if we pay close attention clues are waiting to be discovered. As we reach out to one another and connect, we cannot fail. The adventure we are living is sometimes troubling but if it pushes us to rediscover our purpose and enables us to find our true selves, it is worth the ride. How long will it take to reach our goal? It all depends on our free will.

Taking Action

The best action you can take right now is to heal yourself so you will think and act from a place of balance. Circulate the Divine Light within you and the power and presence generated will not only keep you centered but will reach out to others in your circle of loved ones and friends. Do your best to stay away from people who create division and express themselves from a point of fear and falsity. It is time that you be in charge and not allow negativity to influence your feelings and actions.

There are Celestial beings, angels and good friends who will protect and assist you if you keep your focus. Although appearances at times appear bleak, life is evolving the way it must. Trust is a blessing during hard times. We chose to be born during this period of change. This is why I am offering tools and techniques in my classes to help keep us balanced and in control of our own body and mind energy. Be alert to influences. Use discernment and trust the Light. Participate in the changes by becoming who you really are...a soul who is evolving through love and the choices you make.

Stay with a daily meditation schedule. Do this for you. Try nine sets of alternate nostril breathing every day to sustain your focus. Chanting Om Nama Shivaya is very centering and healing. Remember to take good care of you. There is nothing selfish about creating good for you, others and the planet. If you have a dream not yet realized, stay with it and keep dreaming. Use visualization to remind yourself that the dream will manifest because you are persistent and dedicated to your own expansion of consciousness. Think positive and forceful thoughts over and over again for long periods of time.

Angels & Faith

I believe that the current interest in angels is part of an on-going effort of people to find peace. It is one of many ways the Invisible Hand of the Divine guides us. When we are in a state of mind to receive help in any form, we receive from the Divine an experience of the connectedness between the physical and spiritual worlds. We can also be touched through very high and subtle levels of interaction from celestial beings in vision, dreams and in some cases, out of the body experiences.

This can be a distraction if it becomes your focus. Meaning, we can become caught up in the pleasure or the flattery. Although the experiences give us hope and make us feel like we are loved, I suggest that you do not indulge in experiences with celestial beings. I say this because our purpose in the flesh is soul progression and to develop a will for perfection. Perfection in my way of thinking becomes a reality when we merge the Higher Nature with the lower nature. The Higher Nature becomes the power in control. It is not visions and occult experiences that we must cultivate. If we become attached to admiration of the invisible life, we might become complacent regarding our own spiritual growth.

At the same time, pay attention and notice your dreams or premonitions. Do you hear voices giving you words of encouragement or perhaps feel or sense an invisible support around you? Believe in these experiences. Celestial help exists all around us. By accepting this fact and opening our spiritual senses we can become aware of them. One purpose they serve is to remove the scales from our eyes. Simultaneously, it is prudent to develop discrimination and reach a place in mind where we understand what is important in our development and what is a distraction along the way. The supernatural is fascinating, but our own developed love for God and Faith is what matters. Even in difficult situations, depend on your Faith in the Lord to do what's best.

Ways of Identifying an Angel

A long time ago, I read about St. Bartholomew who was one of the first who went on record stating that angels may be identified by a trailing and wonderful fragrance. The unexplained scent of roses or pines in the air may be a clue that an angel has passed by. The refreshing smell of a rich pine forest is associated with angels on a healing mission. A sandalwood fragrance symbolizing healing angels. The scent also indicates angels who arrive with creative and inspirational messages and suggestions. Guardian angels are said to radiate a fragrance that is sweeter than a flower garden in full bloom.

Angels come in all shapes, sizes and colors both visible and invisible to the physical eye. You see them for the most part with your inner eye. An angel experience changes us. As we develop through noble and unselfish efforts, we draw closer to them. While we achieve soul progression, they will be patiently waiting and seeking our recognition and love. An attitude of expectancy, love and belief have everything to do firsthand experiences. It is a blessing to be aware of their nearness. Always be grateful for the slightest token of helpfulness, meaning even in the small things like losing a lost item and suddenly knowing where it is.

Angels speak to us through our thoughts and sudden visions and dreams. As an example, two nights ago I was shown in a dream that if I loaned my computer to my friend the printer would not work once it was returned to me. The dream was correct. At the moment my printer is not working. Last week, I had a dream where I saw myself on my hands and knees on the wood floor in the hallway scooping something up that I could not identify in my dream. Well, later the morning of the next day I was on my hands and knews scooping up sewage. A plumber was called. The common drain for the building had backed up in my laundry room. It took hours to clean up the awful mess. That wasn't a part of the plumber's job assignment.

I have also been given many dreams where I am to warn someone of a possible accident. Years ago, I was shown my daughter running on a trail in the D.C. area during her work lunch hour. The next thing I saw was her body lying motionless on the path covered with leaves. I immediately called her and described the area that was secluded and appeared very much like a tunnel created by the beautiful trees. Sure enough...I described her daily jogging area. She listened to me and changed her route. The horrific part is later that very week a woman jogger was murdered on that same path. I urge you to always listen and act, if possible, on the dream or vision given to you. Once I did not. I had an early morning dream of one of my son's driving home from a local college and his face was so bloody and the lips distorted that I did not actually understand it to be him in the dream. Well, later that day when driving home that very same accident happened and his lip was split open after hitting the windshield. Because we were both rushing, I had not taken the time to share either analyzine or share the dream. Also, I was not absolutely positive it was my son in the dream. Sometimes, we must learn the hard way. I have forgiven myself but imagine how I felt. To me this is evidence that there are multiple possibilities that we can choose to live from. The more spiritually aware and discerning we are,the greater our awareness. We become alert to the many possibilities and choose the one that will bring balance and not harmful results.
